Mr. Blaine Edward Phelps, 62, of Climax, went home to his Heavenly Father on August 22, 2026.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Jeff Joyce officiating. The burial will follow at GuilRand Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Blaine was born in Guilford County. He graduated from Eastern Randolph High School, he attended Campbell University and Fruitland Bible Baptist College and earned his Master's Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Blaine was employed with Securitas Security Services for more than ten years in both Ohio and in North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly W. Phelps; his children, Kaitlin Anne Phelps, Cecilia Joy Phelps, Charlie Grace Phelps and Elizabeth Raine Phelps; his parents, Charles and "Tuddy" Virginia Phelps, of the home; his brother, Brad Phelps (Jennifer); his sister, Stephanie Phelps Burr (Jason) and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a great nephew.
