Mr. Bobby Melvin Shores, Sr., age 88, passed away Saturday morning on October 28, 2023 at the Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Shores was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee to the late Rufus and Rosalee Collins Shores. He retired from Overnite Transportation with 35 years of service and attended Pleasant Garden Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Bobby Melvin Shores, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years Janie Shores; daughter Dottie Brown and husband Chris; grandchildren Bobby Payden Brown and Michael Brayden Brown.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Randolph Hospice House for the care and support given to Mr. Shores and his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Randolph Hospice House 486 Vison Dr. Asheboro, NC  27203.
