Mr. Bobby James Taylor, Jr., age 71, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, November 25, at Guil-Rand Memorial Park with military honors provided by Randolph County Honor Guard.  Mr. Taylor will lie in state from 9:00am -12 noon Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Mr. Taylor was born in Rockingham County to the late Bobby and Gladys "Diane" Holt Taylor, Sr.  He was a graduate of Northwest Guilford High School and retired from Carolina Freight Express with several years of service.  He served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Army while serving in the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother Gary "Bud" Mounce.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, of thirty-one years, Bonnie Barley Taylor; children Amanda Breese (John), and Daniel Coltrane; sisters Rita Taylor, Debra Taylor Wood, Teressa Campbell, Wanda Sneed, and Rhonda Curl.  Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
