Mr. Charles Richard Greer, 76, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, September 27, 2024 at his home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 12:30 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Doug Evans officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruby Greer; fathers-in-law, Kenneth Green, Sr. (Sheila) and Carey Foster; siblings, Johnny Lester Greer, Patricia Autry, Harold Wayne Greer, Sr., James Ray Greer, Sr., Linda Gail Payne, and Roger Dale Greer.

Charles was a life-long carpenter and worked for Samet, M&M Builders, Allgood Construction, and Richard's Handyman Service.  His passions were fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Angela Denise Greer; daughters, Dawn Greer Winslow (Travis), and Starr Greer Van Hoff (Jon); grandchildren, Trey Lovett (Nakita), Todd Lovett, Jason Lovett, Rebecca Lovett (Bailey), Parker Van Hoff, and Travis  W. Winslow; great-grandchildren, Tatum Lovett, Taelyn Lovett, Haisley McCormick, and Brynlee McCormick; sister, Jane Williamson (Wayne); mother-in-law, Elizabeth Foster; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends whom he loved.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
