Mr. Charles Marion Hamilton, Sr., 83, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at George Brothers Funeral Service from 12:00 to 1:30 pm on Monday prior to the graveside service.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 14, 2022, at Midway Cemetery on Rankin Mill Road in Greensboro with Pastor Charles Hamilton, Jr. officiating.

Charles was born in Guilford County on April 5, 1939, to the late Robert Carroll Hamilton and Mary Elizabeth McCauly Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hege Hamilton in 2013. He loved his family most of all but also enjoyed the outdoors, watching and playing sports, pulling for the New York Yankees and was also a master carpenter. Charles was formerly a member at Briggs Memorial Baptist Church.

Charles is survived by his children, Ellen "Annette" Hamilton of the home, Charles Hamilton, Jr and wife, Annette of Mebane and Connie Hamilton; his grandchildren, Leslie, Scott, Mikey, Emily, Josh, Jennifer, Lonnie and Chase; his great grandchildren, Nathoniel, JoJo, Skyler, Ateara, Natalee, Corbin, Paxton, Morganne, Kennedy, Tyler, Declan, Jackson and one more on the way and his brother, Jimmy Hamilton and his wife, Judy.
