Funeral will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2010 at George Brothers Funeral Service Chapel with burial to follow at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery on Fairfax Road.

Charlie worked hard all his life in the vinyl siding installation business. When he wasn''t working, Charlie loved fishing and taking long country drives. He was also a big fan of Duke Bluedevils Basketball.

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Angela and Les Denney of Greensboro; son, Gary and Bobbie Piggott of Broadway, VA; grandchildren, Gary Jr., Robby, and Katie; brothers, Lynn Smith of Bluff City, TN and Steve Smith of Calabash, NC; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home

Charlie''s daughter, Angie extends her heart felt thank you to all the family, friends, and nurses for their support "in our time of need".
