Clara Lou Doss Brown, 71, of Pleasant Garden passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 3, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Clara was full of life. She was very active with her family, work, and travels. She was a longtime employee with HBD, Inc. in Greensboro. She enjoyed traveling to her beloved Carolina Beach. She loved her cats. Clara will always be remembered as being young at heart.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby Doss along with her brother, Herbert Johnson.

Clara is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Patricia Gaydon of Liberty and Michael and Tammy Gaydon of Jamestown; grandchildren, Ryan, Brad, Jackson, Britain, and Tara; two great grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Sigmon, Shirley Batte, and Malinda Rutherford; brother, Pete Johnson; several nieces and nephews including Wendy Hoyt and Stephen Sigmon.
