Cynthia "Cindy" Kellis Holt, 67, passed away at her home on Monday, February 27, 2023, following a long illness with MS.

Born and raised in Guilford County, NC, Cindy graduated from Page High School and then from Wake Forest University with a double major in English and Elementary Education. She was a teacher for Lausanne Montessori School in Memphis, TN. Cindy enjoyed visiting St. Simon's Island on vacation. She had several pet rabbits through the years, and she liked to play piano and sew when her health allowed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Catherine Kellis.

Surviving family includes her daughter, Aubrey Holt; sister, Beverly Holliday; and brother Eddie and wife Gail Kellis.
