Mr. Elzie Daniel "Danny" Talton, 70, of Greensboro, passed away on February 2, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service and the family will receive friends following the service. The inurnment will take place at a later date at Guilford Memorial Park.

Danny was born in Guilford County on October 19, 1953, to the late Albert Glenn Talton and Doris Branson Lemmons Talton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Talton and brother, Lester Talton. After graduating from Ben L. Smith High School, Danny joined the United States Army's 82nd Airborne and served eight years. He also served in the reserves and the National Guard. He was most recently employed with NAPA on Battleground Avenue.

He is survived by his daughter, Trina Whitteker; his grandchildren, Brendon, Kayleigh, and Abigail; great grandsons, Elijah and Gabriel; siblings, Leila Sebastian (Clifton) and John Talton; nephews, Chris Sebastian and Keith Sebastian (Jennifer) and his best friends, Joel and Kathy Johnson.
