Mr. David Keith Brown, 74, of Whitsett passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Brown was born in Guilford County, NC to the late James Vadis and Lillie Sutton Brown. He was a member of Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church for over 20 years. He was a man of many talents and worked many handy-man jobs over the years including in lawncare, maintenance, plumbing, and cemetery grounds keeping. In his spare time David enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering for Jeff Gordon, rooting for his Braves baseball and Duke basketball teams, and spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. David also appreciated time for piddling around his property and he adored his grandchildren and time spent with them.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his siblings Donald Brown, Willard Brown, Boyd Brown, Curtis Brown, Levon Brown, Bernice Brown Woodlieff, and Larry Brown.

David is survived by his loving wife, Janice Cater Brown; children Danielle Brown, Jason Brown (Misty), and Dustin Brown; and his grandchildren JJ Brown, Hunter Brown, Felicity Brown, Hudson Brown, Ellie Brown, and Charlie Brown.
