David Harlan Campbell, 91, of Greensboro died Monday, March 11, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral will be 12:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

David served with the United States Army from 1952-1954. He retired from the former Overnite Trucking Company as a maintenance worker. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and he loved car racing. David was good with his hands adding on to his house and working on cars. Despite his age, David could always remember specific dates, names, and places. Uncle Harlan was known for his greeting of "Hey Honey" and his sweet farewell kiss and "Love You".

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo and son, Michael; along with three sisters and three brothers.

David is survived by sisters, Juanita Gibson and Edna Bond along with a host of loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
