David L. Farlow, 98.5 years of age, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Monday, March 6, 2023. David lived a full, happy, and productive life. He was born on August 15, 1924, to the late Julius Branson Farlow and Cora Clayton Farlow.

A WWII veteran, David served in the US Army Air Corps. He earned his living in the printing industry and, after retirement, dedicated his life to missionary work in the United States and Liverpool, England.

David was preceded in death by his only son, Joseph Branson Farlow; his sister, Mary Farlow Hensley; and his brother, Joseph N. Farlow.

David is survived by his daughter, Jewel A. Farlow. Also surviving are a nephew, two nieces, numerous grandnephews and grandnieces, and many loyal friends.

A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Marlboro Friends Meeting in Sophia, NC. Pastor Ray Luther will preside.
