Mr. Donald Wayne Harden, 63, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, December 2, 2023 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Phillip Talton officiating.

Mr. Harden was born in Guilford County to the late Donald William and Annie Belle Bowman Harden. He attended Southern Guilford High School and worked for Olympic Products for over 40 years. Don was a mechanic at heart who always had a project, or several, going. He enjoyed building motors, and then rebuilding them when he blew them up. Sundays were his day to enjoy watching NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt, Dukes of Hazard, and Walker, Texas Ranger. Donald could always be caught tinkering, making his friends and family laugh, and enjoying his Budweiser. More than anything, he loved being Pawpaw to his granddaughter, Kirstyn Hunt, spending time playing school and watching cartoons with her. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be missed dearly by so many.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia "Cricket" Clodfelter.

Donald is survived by children, Michael Harden, Leslie Harden, Ashley Parker, and Joshua Brown; granddaughter, Kirstyn Hunt; siblings, Brenda Carter (Kevin), Linda Oliver, and William Harden; nieces and nephews, John Oliver, David Oliver, Amanda Oliver, Kevin Carter, Jr. (Courtney), Justin Harden, and Makenzie Hinchey (Braxton). Also surviving are many cousins, friends, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-200pm at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home of Brenda Carter 346 NC Hwy 62 West Randleman, NC 27317.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Burnetts Chapel.
