Donna Smith Plaster, 52, of Randleman went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Randolph Hospice house lovingly surrounded by her family with her husband holding her hand.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 28, 2023 at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will be private.

Donna was a devout Christian and a member of Infusion Church in Archdale. She was a graduate of Southern Guilford High School, class of 1988. Donna served as a teacher's assistant with both Gateway Education Center and Moorehead Elementary school. She was a devout member of MOPS at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church for several years until her health declined. Donna's greatest pleasure in life was her role as a loving wife and mother. Donna loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart and always put the needs of others before her own needs. She always had a positive attitude even with her declining health.

Being preceded in death by her father, Bobby Gray Smith, Donna was known as a Daddy's girl.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of thirty-three years, Kenneth Plaster; sons, Kenneth Dylan Plaster and Aaron Chesley Plaster; mother, Barbara Collins Smith; sisters, Tammy Smith Brown (Russell), Cindy Smith Teague, and Lana Smith Leonard (Todd); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the funeral home.

A special thank you to her sons, Dylan and Aaron for helping with her care these past few years along with the staff at Hospice of Randolph for providing such good care this past week.
