Mr. Earl Alonzo Holman, 69, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Garden of Prayer Baptist Church located at 1004 N. English St. #1006 Greensboro, NC 27405 with Reverend Mark Barrett and Pastor Willie Caveness officiating.

Mr. Holman was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clarice Holman; and daughter, Constance Jones-Milton.

Earl loved to attend and was a deacon and an active member of Resurrection of Life Ministries.  He loved to minister to others and enjoyed fishing and watching cowboy movies in his spare time.  He was a wrestler in his younger days, worked doing home improvement, and even tried to learn how to cook.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Maryann Holman; daughter Deadra Vample; stepdaughter, Quardajh Blade; stepson, Karrissan Mickel; grandsons, RaQuon Deese, Chance Vample, Jerome Milton, Jr., and Jercolby Milton; brother, Kenny Holman and his wife Stephanie; 1 niece; 2 nephews; and a host of other family members and friends whom he loved.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
