Mr. Edward William Clark, Jr., 88, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at Hospice Home of Alamance County.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Barkley officiating.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Clark; parents, Edward and Ruby Gregory Clark; sister, Doris Roberts; and brother, Barry Clark, Sr.

Edward retired from the Water Resources Department with the City of Greensboro after many years of dedicated service.  He was an avid NASCAR fan who attended over sixty races at Daytona, and he always pulled for the Wood Brothers Racing Team.

He is survived by his sisters, Trudy Murphy and Vickie Gordon (Randy); and several other family members and friends whom he loved.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service prior to the graveside service.
