We are sad to announce that Francis "Frank" Ray Miller, 80, of Greensboro passed away on October 14, 2023 after a long illness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the summer of 2024 in Illinois. Frank was born Feb. 13, 1943 in Bloomington, IL to the late Ray and Lorene Miller. He attended St. Mary's University in Winona, MN and was a 1968 graduate of Illinois State University at Normal, IL.  He worked 30 years in printing and typesetting/graphic arts and went on to work in customer service with Eastwind Airlines and AirTran Airways, retiring from Southwest Airlines. Frank was passionate about growing plants and trees and readily shared his knowledge to anyone. Frank was predeceased in 1985 by daughter Tia Lynn Miller, and is survived by his wife, Martha "Marty" Miller of the home; daughter, Pamela Christine Miller of Greensboro; siblings, Dave Miller (Pat) of New Brunswick, NJ, Dennis Miller (Marilyn) of Bloomington, IL, Mary Myers (Dick) of Whitefish Bay, WI, Rita Tschanz (John) of Libertyville, IL, Diane Cortez (Ernie) of Scottsdale, AZ, Ramona Chance (Chuck) of Gainesville, FL, Joseph Miller (Nikki) of Hudson, IL; and cousins, Ralph Dale Miller, Jr. of O'Fallon, IL, Lisa Helen Mattson of Duluth, MN, Nick Miller of Hoyt Lakes, MN, Nancy Miller of Bloomington, IL, Joan Kay Beasley of Duluth, MN, and Sue Lynn Bottomley of Madison, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice
