Franklin "Rick" Delano Ricafrente, Jr., 56, of Greensboro died at his residence on Saturday, February 10, 2024 lovingly surrounded by his immediate family.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Rick was born in Guilford County where he was a graduate of Ben L. Smith High School, Class of '85. He was employed with Parker-Hannifan in Greensboro. He was known as a hard worker and a good provider. Rick loved his family as evidenced by his favorite quote, "Where's My Love?!" when his daughter would reply, "Right here, Daddy!" as she ran to him with open arms.

Left to mourn his loss is his high school sweetheart and wife of thirty-five years, Christy of the home; son, Ryan (Samantha); daughter, Heather (Tyler); beloved grandchildren, Lakoda, Malaya, and Ryker; father, Frank Ricafrente and wife, Linda; mother, Barbara Winfree; brother, Tim Ricafrente; and sister, Dawn Gossett.

Rick was a brave fighter, especially since 2022, when he was first diagnosed with cancer.
