Gail Frances Maness Garner, 79, of Madison, passed away on January 29, 2023.

The funeral service will he held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 10:00 am at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Gail was born July 20, 1943, in Guilford County, NC to the late Floyd and M. Juanita Fields Maness. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, C.M. "Buck" Garner; daughter, Penny McNair; her grandson, William Alvin Hinnant and her brothers, Richard G. Maness and Roy Maness. Gail and her husband, Buck, owned and operated Buck's Sports Shop in Columbia, SC.

Gail is survived by her grandson, William Ford; longtime special friend, Bobby L. Robertson; brothers, John Maness (Jean) and Larry Branton (Dawn); special cousin, Marie Maness Moore; great grandchildren, Melinda Hinnant, Cheyenne Hinnant, Sydney Ford and Violet Ford and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
