Mr. George McDaniel Tucker, 73, of Archdale, passed away on July 29, 2026.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park.

George was born on August 14, 1952, in Cabarrus County, to the late Ira and Leola Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry M. Tucker, Doris T. Surratt, Ronny G. Tucker and Donny L. Tucker. George enjoyed coin collecting, NASCAR, drag racing and his beloved dogs. His favorite pastime of all was spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Tucker; his children, Michael Tucker (Tiffany), Rodney Tucker (Kim), Kris Tucker (Caitlin), Brandy Alley (Kevin) and Ashley Tucker; seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

George proudly served in the United States Army and memorials may be made to your local veteran's organization.
