Gladys "Diann" Holt Taylor, 95, of Greensboro passed peacefully at her home of fifty-two years on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2023 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-12:45 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Born in Rockingham County to the late Thomas and Annie Holt, Dinah was always known as the prettiest girl on Mayodan Mountain. She retired from Serta Mattress. She was also the owner of Diane's Café and co-owner of the Diamond Speedway in the 1960's. She was a huge fan of George Strait.

Gladys was the last of thirteen children that included Carrie Wilkins, Roy "Hoss", Tula Sparks, Harold "Man", Paul "Jack", Louise, James "Dick", Henry "Buster", John Pete, Clara, and Maggie. She is also preceded in death by son, Gary Garvin Mounce, Sr. and grandson, Garry Mounce, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Bobby James Taylor, Jr. (Bonnie); daughters, Rita Taylor Doggett, Debra Taylor Wood (David), Teressa Taylor Campbell, Wanda Taylor Sneed (Rick), and Rhonda Taylor Curl (Ken) all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Tanya, Jamie, Chad, Shane, Julie, Jordan, Dana, Danielle, Marissa, Carrie, Hannah, and Sierra.
