Hazel Jobe Coose, 93, of Greensboro passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Piedmont Hills Center.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Trinity Holiness Church Cemetery in Sophia, NC where she will be buried next to her first husband, E. J. Wisdom.

Hazel was born January 21, 1930 in Alamance County to the late Curtis and Nellie Jobe. She was an elementary teacher for most of her working career. She taught in Florida and Thomasville, NC. Hazel was also a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.

Hazel is survived by her two sisters, Brenda Loftis of Greensboro and Mary Wallace of Rose Hill; several grandchildren including Leanna Englund of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Barbara Jobe of Greensboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
