James "Marvin" Pollard, 78, entered the gates of Heaven on March 2, 2024 from Wesley Long Community Hospital.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Guilford Memorial Park.

The Lord was foremost in his life and after that his wife, Mary and son, Jason. He also leaves behind his surviving brother, Robert. And finally, his k-9 companion, Baxter.

Many precious loved ones and family have gone on before him, especially his daughter, Janet.

Marvin has been a member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church for many years and he was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Marvin was a friend to everyone and he was loved by all who knew him. Heaven gained a precious soul.
