Jeffrey Dean Still, 59, of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church with burial to follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Born on July 29, 1967, in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeff was the son of the late Larry and Sandy Still. He was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Garden, where he built a life filled with hard work, love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Jeff was a dedicated landscaper who truly loved his work. Landscaping was more than just a job to him; it was a passion. He took great pride in what he did and was always willing to lend a helping hand, share his knowledge, or teach someone something new. His strong work ethic and willingness to help others were just a few of the qualities that made him so special.

Outside of work, Jeff found happiness in life's simple pleasures: family dinners, game nights, hockey games, and, of course, a cold Pepsi and his Marlboros. Rarely without one or the other, Jeff was a man who knew what he liked and wasn't about to change his ways. With his booming voice, goofy personality, and unforgettable sense of humor, Jeff had a way of making everyone around him laugh, often without even trying.

Jeff was a man of strong faith in Jesus, whose love for his family and generosity toward others left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend. His presence brought laughter, comfort, and strength to so many lives, and the memories he leaves behind will be treasured forever.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Still; his children, Thomas and Brandy; his stepdaughters, Cynthia and Angela; his nine beloved grandchildren; and his sister, Kim and Terry McDowell, son Logan McDowell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Sandy Still.

Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the laughter he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
