Jimmie Ronald "Cricket" Cunningham, Sr., 75, of Charlotte, formerly of Greensboro, passed from this life on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the home of his daughter.

Funeral will be 3:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Jimmie was born October 14, 1948 in Greensboro, NC. He was a graduate of James B. Dudley High School. He earned his bachelor's degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Jimmie also made his career at A&T where he retired after many years of service.

Jimmie is survived by his children, Jimmie "Ronnie" (Myisha), Sherry, Meshea (Ishmael), and Nékivah; stepmother, Cecelia Cunningham; siblings, Lucinda, Jerome, Cedric, and Sheila; and grandchildren, Levar, Isiah, Malachi, Ivan, Micah, Justin, Patrick, Milan, and Grayson.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:00 PM Sunday at the chapel prior to the service.

A repass will follow the service with location to be provided.
