John Frank Coble, Sr., 84, of Randleman, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Rev. Doug Huff officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife following the service at Gilmore Memorial Park.

Mr. Coble was preceded in death by his wife, Carol "Maw Maw" Coble; sons, Joseph W. Coble and Jeffery B. Coble; brother, Joe B. Coble; and sister, Jeanette Coble.

He was a member of Christ Way Church.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory sons, John F. Coble, Jr. (Glenda) of Greensboro, and James Curtis Coble (Donna) of Greensboro; daughter Joyce Faye C. Whitt (Todd) of McLeansville; grandchildren Jennifer Coble Whitt (Andy),  Brittany Jade Coble, Jordan B. Coble, Adam C. Coble (Jessica), Jessica L. Coble, and Brooke Coble; great grandchildren Hensley Cole Whitt, Jaxson  James Coble, and Jace A. Coble; sister in law, Peggy Coble, of Wallace, SC; brother, Jerry M. Coble, and wife Kim, of Bennettsville, SC; and sister, JoAnn Brook and husband Harold, of Durham, NC.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service prior to the service.
