Mrs. Karen Shadrick Kiszely, 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at her home in Pleasant Garden.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Born in Forsyth County to the late Raymond Shadrick and Grace Baker, Karen built many lasting relationships with former co-workers during her 20 years at Stock Hausen Company in Greensboro. She had many interests, including a love for dogs.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Scott Kiszely; siblings Danny Shadrick (Amanda), Anita Kirkman (Paul), Danny Strickland (Bonnie), and James Strickland (Teresa); mother-in-law Diane Hondel (late husband, Richard); father-in-law Frank Kiszely (late wife, Patsy); sister-in-law Sherri Baldwin (George); and brother-in-law Brent Kiszely. She is also survived by many extended family members.
