Konrad Willy Kuehn, 87, of Greensboro, NC was born in Stuttgart, Germany on June 22, 1939 to Willy and Edith Kuehn. He died on Thursday, October 1, 2026 in Greensboro, NC.

Konrad came to the United States at the age of 22. He appreciated the opportunities this county offered to anyone willing to work hard. Together with his partner and best friend, the late Andre' Robert, he founded Classic Knitting Mills in Greensboro, which they owned and operated for over thirty years.

Konrad loved gardening, traveling, anything to do with railroads, his cat Yoda, Pinot Grigio, and his friends.

But most of all he loved his family: his wife of sixty-one years, Hildegard, his daughter Kristina, his son-in-law Edgar, and his sisters, Ursula Brupbacher of Switzerland and Inge Robert of Asheville, NC. He was a very caring husband, father, and brother.

Konrad's family is grateful to the staff at Wesley Long Hospital who provided excellent care during his final illness and who were a great comfort to him and his loved ones.
