Mr. Larry Neal Crump, 70, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at his home with his wife by his side.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian with Reverend Kim Priddy officiating.

Mr. Crump was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Crump.

Known as "Larry The Gun Guy", he ran his gunsmith operation for almost 20 years.  He was a member of Guilford Bowhunters, Rockingham County Gun Club, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and earned his Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.  He led a group of Boy Scouts on a month-long trip to California and back passing through "Philmont".

Larry is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janice Crump; his mother, Emy Crump; as well as a small group of very dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to any animal support group.
