Linda Maxine Helms, 69, of Harrisburg, NC, formerly of Greensboro died Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her home.

Funeral will be 7:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2022 at George Brothers Funeral Service chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-6:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Linda was born in Guilford County where she graduated from Western Guilford High School and attended UNCG. She was employed with Bank of America for thirty-five years. Linda was also a member of Global Missions at Charlotte.

She is preceded in death by her father, Rufus Ward.

Linda is survived by her mother, Mary Claudine Ward of Greensboro; brothers Phillip Ward (Rachel) of Sumter, SC, and Randal Ward of Greensboro; niece and nephews, Allie, Luke, and Josh; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.
