Mary Ruth Mayberry Souther, 94, of Greensboro went to Heaven on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Monday, March 11, 2024 at Glenwood Friends Meeting. The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will be private.

Mary was a member of Glenwood Friends Meeting for fifty years and a Sunday School teacher for many years. The many class members brought great joy to her life.

She retired from Lucent Technologies.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Souther; parents, Vaughn and Maye Mayberry and brothers, Les, Neil, and Max Mayberry.

Survivors include her sisters, Bonnie McCluskey (Harold), Faye Covert, Jeane Bare and Judy Smith; Kay Radford as close as a daughter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Siloam Missionary Homes, PO Box 705, Snow Camp, NC 27349-0705.
