Mr. Michael Linwood Boyles, 84, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A memorial service honoring Mr. Boyles's life will be announced at a later date.

A native of Guilford County, Michael was born to the late Harold and Constance Mosteller Boyles. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and later retired as a truck driver from Mateer's Trucking Company.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife Anna Faye Greer.

Michael is survived by his children, Shane Greer, Jerry Greer, and Michelle Crawley, and by his grandchildren, Kristian, Abbie, Tommy, and Avery, who knew him as "Pawpaw."
