Mr. Michael "Mike" Ray Shepherd, age 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at High Point Regional Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 11:30am Friday at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. J.R. Gossett officiating the service.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Grace Baptist Church.

Mike was of the Baptist faith and retired from Southeastern Freight Lines with thirty years of service.  He fought stage four melanoma cancer for six years and COPD for ten years.  Mike was a fighter until the Good Lord called HIM Home!

Mike is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years Robin Shepherd of Randleman; children Travis Shepherd and wife Amanda of McLeansville and Heather Watkins of Greensboro. He was adored by his grandson Holden Shepherd who brought Mike years of joy and happiness; brother Allan Shepherd and wife Connie of Greensboro. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews to whom he loved very much.
