Mike L. Whitesell, 73, of Greensboro died Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be 11:00 am Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, 1216 Grooms Road, Reidsville, NC. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mike worked in the dental industry for the past forty-one years including starting his own business in 2017, Whitesell Dental, Inc. His favorite holiday was Christmas. He loved to go overboard with Christmas decorations each year. He was a kind and giving man that was known for his honesty and integrity. In addition to his dental work, he also worked as a contractor and was known for his craftmanship and eye for detail.

Mike is survived by his wife, Karen Whitesell of the home; daughter, Kaley Thompson (Wil); son Chris Whitesell (Liz); stepson, Chris Russell (Alice); sister, Debbie Gariglio (Vance); brother, Gary Whitesell; grandchildren, Liyah, Antonia, Ellie, Athena, and Aris; brother-in-law, Jerry Clapp; and several nieces and nephews.
