Myrtle "Fay" Russell Blake, age 91, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Guilford Memorial Park with Rev. Grant Taylor officiating the service.

Mrs. Blake was born, in Suffolk, Virginia, to the late Henry and Myrtle Glenn Russell.  She was a former member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and retired from the United States Postal Service as a clerk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Blake; daughter Cathy Blake; brother Robert "Bobby" Russell.

Fay is survived by her daughter Linda Gray of Greensboro.  Also surviving are one nephew and three nieces.
