Nancy Delana McDaniel, 87, of Greensboro died Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Brookdale Senior Living in Greensboro.

Nancy was born in Guilford County, NC on November 15, 1938 to the late Elias and Ardell Blake. She was of the Baptist faith. Nancy loved camping and fishing in the great outdoors. And she loved bowling with friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Melvin McDaniel; son, Robert Matthew McDaniel; and brother, Glenn Oakley Blake.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Susan M. Hilliard (Todd) and Janet M. NcDaniel; grandchildren, Casey L. Whitesell, Amber Collins, Matthew Collins, and Mikayla Collins; step grandchildren, Ashley Hilliard Coveyou (Jason), Crystal H. Mulins (Chris), and Victoria Hilliard; along with eight great grandchildren.
