Obituary

Noah Isaiah Coble of Greensboro, NC went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 20th, 2026. Noah was born in Blairsville, GA on May 10, 2007, and spent most of his life here in Greensboro. Noah was preceded in death by his Grandparents Donald and Beth Coble, and Genna Gaye Wilcox, and many extended family members.

A Member of North Greensboro Church of God, Noah loved his church and participated in worshipping God by often making a joyful noise to God and raising his hands. Noah attended Gateway Education Center in which he was scheduled to complete his journey there in 2027. The School was kind to give him a celebration now for that accomplishment, and several dignitaries including our Mayor Marikay Abuzuaiter and Sheriff Danny Rogers along with his Chief Deputy, Sargent, and other Deputies were present to celebrate Noah. The family thanks the principal of Gateway, Sarah Jones, the wonderful staff including Noah’s Teacher Ms. Crystal, Ms. Angelica, and Ms. Kim, former schoolboard member Byron Gladden, and former PTA president Melissa Davis for making sure he was honored during this period.

Another aspect of Noah, besides church and school, was his love for professional wrestling. He would often get really active while watching it on television. He really loved watching WWE and AEW but mostly enjoyed supporting the Independent Wrestling Scene including our own local promotion Firestar Pro Wrestling, AML Wrestling, BWA Wrestling, and Insurgence Pro Wrestling. Make-A-Wish granted Noah a wish before scoliosis surgery in 2016 to attend WWE Monday Night Raw in person and meet their current champion Roman Reigns. Recently, Sam’s Wish with Hospice granted Noah and his family ringside seats at WWE NXT and he met their champion Grayson Waller. His final show he attended recently was Insurgence Pro Wrestling where they honored Noah by giving him his own introduction and entrance with music. The family thanks Tyler Bruins, the promoter, for providing Noah with this opportunity.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents Dr. Bill and Janie Coble, his sister Rev. Genna Coble, his grandparents Johnny and Theresa Wilcox, his aunt Jennifer Spencer (Michael), and a whole host of cousins including Stephen and Jacob Spencer, and a whole host of extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at George Brothers Funeral Service. A celebration of Noah’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Carter and Dr. Russell Morris will be facilitating and Dr. Bill Coble and Rev. Genna Coble will share in the service. Honorary Pallbearers are Ben Powers, Raymond Rice, Jacob Spencer, Stephen Spencer, Byron Gladden, Michael Griffith, Danny Duncan, Tevin D. Turner, wrestlers and talent of AML, BWA, FSPW, and IPW wrestling promotions, the staff and faculty of Gateway Education Center, the Alamance and Greensboro Church of God Districts, and the ministers of the Church of God Cleveland, TN. A Celebration of life is planned in Murphy, NC on Saturday November 7th, 2026 at the Murphy Church of God located at 129 Church of Christ Road in Murphy NC with Rev. Phillip Cochran, Rev. Partrick Garrett, Dr. Tim Hill, and Dr. Gary Lewis Officiating. Visitation for that service will be 1pm and Service at 2pm.

The family would like to especially thank the Lifepoint Church of God along with all the ministers and congregations of the Church of God Denomination, the Faculty and Staff of Gateway Education Center, all doctors and nurses who have taken care of Noah during his life, and AuthoraCare Kid’s Path including Dr. Wolfe, NP Tina Goodpasture, Nurses Andrea and Wendy, Social Worker Faith, and Chaplain John for their support in the last months of Noah’s life along with home health nurse Tammy.
