Obituary

Mr. Pearlie Lloyd Jeffers, III "PJ" passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, October 9, 2026, at Alamance Memorial Park with Rev Doug Huff officiating the service.

Through his eyes, he had many difficult days, but he never complained.  His life was forever changed, every struggle came a new challenge, every dilemma became opportunity.  He lived simple and never wanting or asking for anything.  PJ brought light to those who knew him, friends, family, nieces, and nephews. Laughter, love, and his witty jokes are memories we can hold onto.  Chris said it best, "He truly was a fighter and showed enormous courage, something that can never be taken away. He is a big brother…faced enormous odds and never remotely complained about it.  He faced it head on; he lived it and then conquered it".

Although our hearts are broken. His memory will live on in the hearts of his parents Pearlie Jeffers, II (Dad) and Roberta Jeffers (Mom); brother Christopher Jeffers (Chris); sister Rebecca Lashley (Buffy); nephew Austin Jeffers (Bubba); Niece Savannah Lashley (Vannah) and Caitlynn Lashley (Cat); nephew Eathan Lashley (E); brother-in-law Ronald Lashley, II (Ron).

George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting the family of PJ.
