Rachel Smith Brewer, 91, of Greensboro died Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Rachel was born in Randolph County to the late Odus F. and Mary Della Davis Smith. She was a long-time member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Rankin Brewer and sisters, Leoda Smith Atnip and Mary Florence Smith Tuttle.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Earl Brewer (Cindy) and Larry Keith Brewer (Sherrie); four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The Brewer family wishes to acknowledge all the kindnesses shown to Rachel during these past few years especially those that have visited her, driven her to appointments and dinners, and the "phone buddies' that kept in contact and cared for her.
