Rachel Humble Entrekin, 78, went Home to be with her Lord Wednesday evening, March 1, 2023 at her home with family by her side.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Smithwood Christian Church in Liberty, with Pastor Jeff Dodson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Entrekin was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Entrekin; parents, Howard and Elvira Humble; and brother, Garland Humble.

Rachel enjoyed spending her time sewing, crocheting, doing crafts, baking all kinds of cakes, painting, and going to church at Smithwood Christian Church where she was a member.  She had retired from the city of Charlotte, NC after many years of service, and always enjoyed her time camping with her husband.

She is survived by her brothers, Wayne (Dorothy), Hoyt (Linda), and Everett Humble (Debbie), all of Liberty; sisters, Martha Hemby (John) and Carolyn Smith (Skippy); her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; as well as numerous other family members and friends that will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
