Obituary

Rhonda Gail (Benoy) Williams, a woman of unwavering faith, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 81.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am Thursday, September 24, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Born on July 20, 1945, Rhonda was one of four children born to the late Daniel and Evelyn Benoy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of more than 60 years, David Kelly Williams, and her sons, David Keith Williams (Katherine) and Donald Kelly Williams (Terry).

For more than six decades, Rhonda and David shared a life built on love, family, faith, and countless memories. Their marriage was a testament to a love that endured through all of life's seasons. Together, they created a home where family was always at the center and where there was always room for another child, another grandchild, or another story to be shared.

Rhonda had a heart especially made for children. She loved them deeply and had a gift for making them feel cherished and cared for. Family was her greatest treasure, and she gave her love without keeping count.

Rhonda is survived by her grandchildren, Justin Williams (Amanda), Ryan Williams, Ashley Reeves (Robby), Lauren Williamson (Joseph), Autumn Williams (Dylan), and Grayson Williams (Brianna) and her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Daniel, Scarlett, Charleigh-Raye, Ivyrose, Skyla, David, Lydia, and Asa.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought immeasurable joy to her life. She cherished every milestone, every visit, every conversation, and every opportunity to simply be together. She took pride in watching her family grow, and her love for each generation was unmistakable.

Rhonda was a woman of faith. Through seasons of happiness and seasons of heartbreaking loss, her faith gave her strength and carried her forward. She knew that life was a gift, family was a blessing, and love was something to be given freely.

In her final days, Rhonda was fortunate to have a wonderful friend, Peter Nowack, by her side. Peter brought adventure, laughter, companionship, and joy into a precious chapter of her life. He helped make her final days meaningful and reminded her that even in life's later years, there were still new memories to make and moments worth celebrating.

Rhonda's life was not measured by possessions or accomplishments, but by the people she loved and the lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, kindness, and unconditional love.

Those who knew Rhonda will remember her gentle heart, her love for children, her devotion to her family, and the way she made people feel that they belonged. Her greatest legacy will live on in the grandchildren she loved so fiercely and in the great grandchildren who will grow up hearing her stories and knowing how very much she loved them.

Though she will be deeply missed, Rhonda's love will remain woven through her family for generations to come.

She loved deeply. She loved faithfully. And she loved her family with her whole heart.

May she rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord, reunited with David and those she loved who went before her, until the day her family sees her again.
