Mr. Richard "Rick" Lee Nance, 65, of Greensboro, passed away on July 2, 2023.

Rick was born in Guilford County on April 18, 1958, to the late Leo and Kathleen Oates Nance. He was retired from the US Postal Service after many years of service. He loved to watch his favorite teams, the NY Yankees, the UNC Tarheels and the Dallas Cowboys and also loved to watch Indy Racing. More than any of those, he most loved getting to spend time with his grandkids including buying and playing video games with them. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new foods and recipes and sharing his favorite movies and tv shows with everyone.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sue Rhames Nance; his beloved children, Rebecca Nance Bryant (Todd), Joshua Timothy Nance (Rachael), Ethan Alexander Nance and Hannah Danielle "Dani" Nance (Josh Woods) and his precious grandchildren, Stephen Jack Bryant, Jacob Lee Bryant, Lydia Renee Nance and Jackson Boyd Nance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Rick.
