Mr. Richard “Paul” Robert, 56, of Liberty, passed away on October 19, 2026.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date and announced here at that time.

Paul was born in Guilford County on December 2, 1969, in Guilford County, to Richard and Brenda Robert. Paul graduated from Northeast Guilford High School in 1987 and aspired at Honda Power Equipment as a quality control engineer for 21 years and retired. He had the opportunity to travel all of the United States and the world while working for them. He loved all kinds of sports. He coached his children in their little league sports and was a back up referee for college football. His favorite teams were the Carolina Panthers and North Carolina State. Paul also loved farming and raising goats and chickens. Above all of these things, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Bryce Roberts and Blanche Nance Roberts and his paternal grandparents, Joseph Alfred Robert and Rose Robert.

Paul is survived by his children, Carson Robert, Kayla Robert and Hunter Robert. His beloved grandson, Joseph Robert; his mother, Brenda Robert and his longtime companion, Lily Lentkowski.
