Mr. Richard Glenn Rollins, 81, went Home to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial service will be held 11:00am Friday, January 19, 2024, at Restoration at the Rock. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

Mr. Rollins was born in Guilford County, NC to the late Paul Wesley and Blanche Hussey Rollins. He proudly served his nation in the National Guard. In his younger days, Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing, – especially for carp – and shooting his guns. Richard also enjoyed visiting the mountains and the beach. He was a hard worker who had a heart for helping his neighbors and those around him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Brannon; two brothers, Lloyd Rollins and Floyd Rollins; and his beloved dog and friend, "Dusty."

Mr. Rollins is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis Carter Rollins; his sons, David Rollins and James Rollins; brother Wayne Rollins and wife Judy; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom he loved dearly.
