Mrs. Ruth C. Stallings, 84, of Greensboro, N.C. departed this earthly life on Friday, January 5, 2024 at her home.

The funeral services are entrusted to George Brothers Funeral Service and are as follows:

The Public Viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM at Mount Zion Baptist Church (1301 Alamance Church Road, Greensboro, NC 27406) prior to the service.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mount Zion Baptist Church (1301 Alamance Church Road, Greensboro, NC 27406). Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Ruth was born May 9, 1939 in Hendersonville, NC. She retired from Lucent Technologies. Ruth was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by mother, Willie Ruth Carson Jenkins; father, Wiley Jenkins; brother's, Wiley N. Jenkins Jr., James Robert Jenkins and daughter, Yolanda Payton.

Ruth is survived by husband, Harry Lee Stallings; children, Beverly Jo Stallings, Sharon Boney, (Eugene) Darryl Stallings (Felicia), Wayne Stallings, Kenneth C. Stallings, Tammie Stallings, Sonja F. Sharpe (Leroy), Rodney Payton, siblings; Catherine Richmond, Carolyn McMinn, Jessie Wilson, Evelyn Williams, Jeanette Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Patricia Wynn, Charles Jenkins (Loretta), grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

Private Family Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM at George Brother's Funeral Home: 803 Greenhaven Drive, Greensboro, NC 27406.
