Shirley Ann Harden, 78, of Greensboro died Friday, December 23, 2022 at Wesley Long Community Hospital.

Graveside service will be 12:30 Friday, December 30, 2022 at Guilford Memorial Park.

Shirley worked out of her home as a seamstress while her children were young. Later, she worked as a baker for Food World. She would often volunteer at the different schools her children attended. Shirley was known as a generous person that never met a stranger. She was a fabulous cook and known for her pies.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Harden.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Harden and wife, Erica of Greensboro, Kimberly Harden of Greensboro, and Mark Harden and wife, Missy of Wilmington; grandchildren, Ryan, Austin, and Lauren Wicker, Henry and Miles Harden; brother, Eugene Lookabill of Winston-Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11-12 PM at George Brothers Funeral Service prior to the graveside service.
