Susan Howard Bettini, 73, died Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home until 7:00 pm.  A private burial will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bettini was born November 28, 1949 in Guilford County to the late Rev. Earl W. Howard, Sr. and Juanita C. Howard.  She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and retired from Electric Supply and Equipment after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Howard.

Mrs. Bettini is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard "Rick" Bettini; daughter, Kristi Bettini; grandchildren, Dylan and Cameron Sams; brother, Tim Howard & wife, Lynn of Angier; sisters, Cindy Slaughter of Mt. Olive and Amy Howard Hovermale of Angier and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a multitude of beloved family and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff who took such great care of Susan throughout her sickness.

Flowers are welcome but memorial contributions may also be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
