Mrs. Wanda Hall Nance, 87, of McLeansville, went home to be with her Savior on July 25, 2023, at the Hospice Home in Burlington.

The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday at New Testament Baptist Church, 1404 W. Vandalia Road, Greensboro, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at New Testament Baptist Church, with Pastor Brett Seawell officiating. The burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.

Mrs. Nance was born in Guilford County on August 30, 1935, to the late McKinnie and Vernie Harwood Hall. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bobby L. Nance and her sister, Marceline Parr. She graduated from Bessemer High School and was a former member of Bessemer United Methodist Church. She remembered often and spoke proudly of growing up in the Bessemer Community. She and her husband Bobby enjoyed 67 years of marriage and now they are united forever, never to be separated again. Her faith was a big part of her life and was evidenced by the strength and fortitude that she exhibited as she endured her sickness and approached the end of her life. She made many friends during this time. The family will forever be grateful to "Miss Gloria" for all of the time she spent with Mrs. Nance comforting her, reading to her, sharing laughs and tears, and of course watching tv together. They are also grateful for "Pastor Brett" and "Mrs. Wendy". Mrs. Nance was not an official member of New Testament Church but Pastor Brett and his wife, Wendy, fully embraced Mrs. Nance. They continually visited with her and shared many times together. She asked him recently if he would be "her pastor" and of course he was honored to do so. She will be remembered as a strong and graceful lady who touched many lives with her kindness and Christian testimony and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mrs. Nance is survived by her loving daughter, Gail Nance Everhart; her precious grandchildren, Katherine Sarvis (Billy), Chris Everhart, and Abby Everhart who lit up her world with their presence; her sister, Joretta Norman (Jimmy); brother-in-law, Jimmy Nance; her special friend, Gloria Martin; her many nieces and nephews that she made feel as if they were her favorite, and many other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Testament Baptist Church, 1404 W. Vandalia Road, Greensboro, NC in memory of Wanda.
