Alice Faye (Dodd) Shropshire

Alice Faye Dodd Shropshire, 77, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Blumenthal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor John Devine officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Alice was born August 31, 1943 in Guilford County to the late Pollie Robert and Lula May Lucas Dodd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, L.K., Douglas and Eugene Dodd; a sister, Irene Dodd and a granddaughter, Kayla Renee Brake.

Survivors include her son, Jason Brake (Heather); a granddaughter, Sarah Ashlee Brake and a sister, Ruth Dodd Dillman.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
