Andrew Joseph "Joe/Joey" Weaver was born in Greensboro, NC, on June 7, 1969, and went home peacefully to reunite with the love of his life, Michelle, on October 4, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He made his home and life in Randleman, North Carolina with his wife and children.
Joe and Michelle built a life and a lasting legacy together, both personally and professionally. Inseparable in all they did, they were the hardworking, kind-hearted force behind 220 Automotive and Level Cross Tire Center in Randleman. Joe was the happiest working for himself; on his own schedule and his own terms (and his own time clock). He didn't care much for rules; he always preferred to do things his way. When they weren't at the shop, you could find them going out to dance together, going to concerts or listening to music so loud at home the neighbors could hear their playlist, fishing down by their pond, near a racetrack, on a golf course, or most treasured of all, getting away to their favorite summertime spot, Myrtle Beach.
There weren't many things he wasn't good at. Joe carried a heart three times his size and had a special gift for making everyone he met feel like family. He was always there when you needed him. (He might've shown up late, but he'd be there.) He was the life of the party, never met a stranger, and couldn't go anywhere without someone recognizing him. He loved people and people couldn't help but love him back. He loved to laugh and was unapologetically silly. If you knew him - he loved you. And those who knew him never doubted that.
Joe loved his family more than anything. He will be deeply missed but we take comfort in knowing Joe & Michelle are now reunited where peace lives and love never ends, free from suffering, disease, and pain.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Lou Weaver; his sister Lisa Reed (Dwight Reed); brothers Bobby Weaver (Pam Weaver) and John Weaver; his sons Christopher Fitzgerald (Caitlin Fitzgerald) and Andrew Joseph "Joe" Weaver Jr; his daughter Rachael Weaver; and his sweet grandbabies, Melody Scism; Kathryn and Addison Fitzgerald along with many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his soulmate, Michelle Weaver; his Nanny, Carra Weaver; his brother Dwight Reed; and dear cousin John Elliot.
Joe will be remembered most for his sweet spirit, the deep way he loved, and his unwavering dedication to his family.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
